Membrane attachment of the chromosome in Bacillus subtilis mutants temperature-sensitive in DNA replication

RESUMO
We have examined three mutants of Bacillussubtilis temperature sensitive in DNA initiation and one temperature sensitive in DNA elongation, in order to investigate whether these lesions can cause or can result in a detachment of the membrane-bound chromosomal region.
