RESUMO

With the increased media coverage of the nutraceutical properties of small fruits like strawberries, raspberries and other, consumer interest increases, and consequently its production. A species of the nightshade family that see recently is being cultivated Physalis L.. Its cultivation is simple, and managed according to the tomato crop. Several authors have worked with various nutrient solutions and electrical conductivities in different cultures, though the results in the same culture are controversial, varying according to species, cultivar and growing conditions. Because it is a culture in the country recently, studies on the culture of physalis are scarce, lacking technical information about adequate management practices specific to the culture, which justifies conducting studies with Physalis L.. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine electrical conductivity ideal for continuous fertgation, where salt buildup occurs not detrimental to the development and production of Physalis L.. The experimental design was randomized blocks with conduction system of three stems per plant in pots containing coarse sand. The solutions that comprised the treatments reached condutividaes electrical 0,5 dS.m-1, 1,0 dS.m-1, 1,5 dS.m-1 and 2,0 dS.m-1. We evaluated the ºBrix content and nutrient uptake in plant parts and fruits in addition to production, productivity and production of fresh and dry. The culture of capegooseberry showed tolerance of the saline accumulations in substrate and production of biomass reacted positively to the increasement in the concentration on nutrient solution should be recommended to use solutions of different stages of development. Treatment of 1,5dS.m-1 received the greatest accumulation of nutrients in plants, demonstrating that the saturation point for the absorption of nutrients capegooseberry.
