RESUMO

Abstract The article analyses the structural, philosophical and practical barriers to the application of the Rights of Nature and makes a critical assessment of its application after 10 years of its recognition in the Ecuadorian Constitution. It recovers the discussions carried out by the civil society on the recognition of “the others” in order to build the proposal of a Declaration and a Court for the Rights of Nature.
