LEITURA, LINGUAGEM E SABER: REFLEXÕES A PARTIR DA ANÁLISE DISCURSIVA DE DOIS TEXTOS NO CONTEXTO DA EDUCAÇÃO EM CIÊNCIAS

RESUMO

RESUMO: Neste trabalho apresentamos alguns sentidos sobre leitura e linguagem e analisamos discursivamente dois textos que falam sobre peixes, a partir de diferentes saberes e contextos sociais e históricos. O objetivo foi apontar contribuições da análise discursiva e do trabalho com diferentes saberes para a educação em ciências. O primeiro texto analisado é uma narrativa Kamayurá escrita por Leonardo Boff e o segundo é uma estória de Rachel Carson traduzida por Antônio Salatino. Ambos foram analisados a partir da análise de discurso, com contribuições de estudos sociais da ciência e tecnologia, estudos antropológicos e sobre (de)colonialidade na educação em ciências. Concluímos que a leitura discursiva pode potencializar as discussões sobre circulação e legitimação de saberes na sociedade e que a ambivalência da linguagem e as condições de produção dos textos podem contribuir nos questionamentos sobre determinismo e colonialidade do saber nas ciências e na educação.ABSTRACT: Herein, we present some meanings about reading and language, and analyse two texts about fishes considering different social and historical contexts. The goal is to point out some contributions and reflections for science education. The first analysed text is a Kamayurá narrative written by Leonardo Boff, and the second is a Rachel Carson story translated by Antonio Salatino. Both texts were analysed under the discourse analysis with some contributions from social studies of science and technology and other references. We conclude that the discursive reading can enhance the discussions about knowledge circulation and legitimation in society; and that the ambivalence of language and the contextualization of texts can contribute to the questioning of determinism and coloniality on sciences and on education.
