RESUMO

This study is part of a reflection about todays youth and the socio-ideological images built around this phase of human development, aiming at reinforcing the importance of educational spaces, mainly in the context of schools; specifically in terms of constructing the meaning of life among high school students. Youth is a phase of life that is considered, in general, as problematic, that has lead some adults, parents or teachers, to not believe and invest in the potentialities of young people. This makes their dynamic and social insertion even more difficult.. The theoretical foundation of this research was based on the concept of sense of life, of Viktor Frankl, including the concept of dialogic education, in Paulo Freire, the concept of complexity, Edgar Morin, and the proposal of educational work by projects, Fernando Hernandez. The methodological approach was that of participant observation, techniques of the analysis of exploratory questionnaires, and the focal group. The data analysis allowed for the recognition of the impact of the proposal of the educational work done by projects, in the sense of contributing for youth to have several elements that enable them to deal with concrete aspects of human life, mainly in terms of building of sense of life.(AU)
