Isolamento e identicação de alcaloides indolicos de peschiera campestris Rizz (Rizz)

RESUMO

The lnvestigation of leaf, bark ano root extracts of Peschiera campestris, a new species dicovered in Brasilia in Brazil, afforded (-) isovoacangine 1, (-) isovoacristine 2a, (-) coronaridine 3, (-) voacangine 4, (-) voacangine Hydroxyindolenin 5, (-) heyneanine 6, (-) voacamine 7, (-) voaachalotine 8, (-) vobasine 9, (-) 12-methoxy-Nb-methylvoachalotine 10. The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and comparison with aulthentic samples. The purification of lhe 12-methoxy-Nb-methylvoachalotine 10 was achieved by changing lhe unknown counter ion to iodide using ionic exchange resin. Antifungal test using Candida albicans (3311, 110231) re- vealed 1, 3, 5, 6a, 8, and 10 as inactive. Anticancer test revealed that 10 was inactive in leukemia treatment (3PS31). Attempts lo obtain the C-16 epimer of 10 were hindered by the reactivity of quaternary ammonium salt with LiAlH4 and dlfficulties in purifying 10 in larger amounts.
