RESUMO

This dissertation is resulted of two years of research carried through in the Irrigated Perimeter of Moxotà - PIMOX, situated in the Ibimirim city, Pernambuco. The main question is which the variable of the territorial system of the PIMOX that interrupted the formation of the cooperation? Based in this question, the main objective was defined in identifying in the territorial system of the perimeter irrigated of Moxotà the main variable that interrupted the cooperation. For carry out this objective , we made a theoretical revision about system, territory and cooperation and we take advantage of the comments of the field visits. The text is organized in accordance with the line of reasoning elaborated to each phase of researche. In the first chapter had description of the territorial system in its configuration and organization, since its formation until the days current. In the second, it have the methods used to identify the variable of the territorial system that interrupted the formation of the cooperation. In the third, and last one, it have the results in this research. Amongst the results we show up the territorial unequal relations between the DNOCS, planner and gerenciador of the Perimeter, and the farmers, what it provoked a sense of social dependence, lack of autonomy and protagonism in the farmers. One another component is associated with the social-territorial instability that the perimeter passed, this it resulted in constant migrations provoking an broken in the process of construction of the cooperation. At last, the territorial configuration of the perimeter elaborated for the DNOCS difficult the communication and the dialogue between the farmers
