RESUMO

Nowadays, information has become a main productive resource, so that organizations make efforts to manage it in order to contribute to organizational learning and obtain better efficiency and performance. In this context, this paper aims at putting in relation informational behavior and organizational learning, presenting a case study in the human resources department of a public municipal organization. The results point out the relationship between organizational learning and individual informational behaviors. It is concluded that the implementation of a systematic information management process would support the adoption of more positive informational behaviors in order to improve efficiency and performance.
