RESUMO

The study aimed to investigate possible causes of the increased calving interval (PI) of 29 dairy cattle in the region of Guaratinguetá-SP from 202-2003 and make an assessment of losses owing to the higher IP, such as lower production milk and reduction of the birth of calves in the properties. We searched for antibodies Bricelose, leptospirosis, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis and bovine viral diarrhea and is frquencias animal herds and positive respectively, 0.87% and 6.89%, 36.87% and 75.86%; 71, 84% and 96.35% and 42.67% and 89.75%.
