Unfortunately, the majority of public opened spaces are projected regardless human diversity. Therefore, this research s purpose is to know the spatial needs of handicapped people, in order to improve their life quality through the Accessible Route s implantation, in Juiz de Fora (State of Minas Gerais) s Downtown, eliminating architectonic barriers, to privilege the Accessibility to urban spaces in opened circulation areas, considering the ergonomics and the concepts of Universal Design.
