RESUMO

The parameter identification of mechanical systems, excited by stochastic forces, is considered. Two basic methods are derived to deal with such systems. One method is based on the Ljapunov matrix equation and the other, on the fundamental matrix of the system. Both parameter estimation procedures are oriented to use only the measured state variables. The direct measurement of the stochastic excitation is not necessary. Stochastic excitation in coloured noise form is modeled by a dynamical system excited by white noise. The numerical analysis is presented for a rotor system with six degrees of freedom. Different measurement configurations are considered in the studied cases
