RESUMO

The work starts on the problem observed in which Brazil, countering the worldwide trend to harness the current expansionary moment, when compared to countries of similar socio-economic matrix, shows little representative results. It is in this complex environment, and increasing demands by intense differential competitive and innovations that participative management is studied as a proposal for the management and incremental alternative. We developed a study with representative business corporations established in the state of Santa Catarina, in the view of the grounds of Participatory Management, perceived by managers of Information Technology (I &T). The informational technology because of their characteristics, is capable of to pass by all instances as a tool for organizational support and viable. The Participatory Management is regarded as a viable strategy for valuation of the flow and shared information, either on its production, is about the dissemination and socialization. It is the premise that built and decisions taken together, offer to organizations, the ability and the performance of operational processes interactive, reflective and more skilled. Perform is a theoretical and empirical approach on the participation associated with withdrawals from certain organizations and hold an environment of I &T representative, focusing on the levels of exercise applied the participatory decision-making processes, among other dimensions considered. The study shows the importance socio-economic and political management of the Participatory, especially on the challenges surrounding the issue, put still not well understood and approved by the organizations. The research discusses the Participatory Management as an organization incremental model, able to meet the aspirations of entrepreneurs, workers and citizens in general.The methodological procedures point as a qualitative research method, and the data processing included both the analysis of the dimensions considered in isolation and by groups of similar content (clusters), including other statistical procedures, able to provide the observation of possible trends and behaviors about Participatory Management. The results show evidence of work to participative management, but we can not identify the participatory process as an option considered and predominant. From the analysis of results, the survey enables suggest the testing of this model of management and perhaps, its adoption as a philosophy of empowerment of individuals and organizations, a think about the redemption of the individual and critical participative while protagonist of an innovative, ethical, technological, competitive and sustainable evolution
