GestÃo do conhecimento e seus impactos culturais no SERPRO : a percepÃÃo de gerentes e empregados da Regional Recife

RESUMO

This is a qualitative study of the management of the knowledge and the observed cultural impacts from its implantation in 2000, particularly of as they are perceived by used controlling and of Regional Recife, an organizational unit of the Federal Service of Datas Processing (SERPRO), the biggest public company in the rendering of services of technology of the information and communication in Brazil. The study has a descriptive character, congregating analysis of documents, semi-structuralized interviews and questionnaires. The results show to be necessary to give to more visibility and communication to the process of management of the knowledge, suggesting to increase the participation and functional integration. In relation to the managemental-administrative system, after the introduction of the management of the knowledge in the SERPRO, the analysis shows that is not perceived change in the performance in the different levels of command, nor were noticed the existence of motivators, to stimulate actions to the sharing of the knowledge. It was verified that the structure, the politics, the practices and the tools of the management of the knowledge do not correspond well to the necessities of this process, mainly with regard to more the regularly used systems, that need update and more easy access and usability. Additionally, it was observed that, although to exist a good vision of the benefits that the management of the knowledge brings to any organization, in Regional Recife it is necessary to divulge more which are their indicators as well as showing the relevance of the committee that received the incumbency to promote it in the company. It was evidenced, also, that for not perceiving great adherence to the knowledge communities, there are forums and chats, which had been designated as efficient to the sharing of knowledge
