RESUMO

In this work it is proposed a generalized equation for universal behavior of the alternating conductivity, σ*(ω) = σ‟(ω) + iσ(ω), of disordered solid materials based on the Random Free Energy Barrier model deduced by J. C. Dyre in 1985. In this context, we tried to understand the conduction mechanisms and charge transport in terms of discrete and non-uniform distributions of jump energy barriers, equidistants, and defined in a finite interval of minimum and maximum energy. All of the information about the medium disorder is provided in terms of a hopping time distribution function, while the density of energy barriers for charge carriers is given as a distribution of a Dirac delta function. As a result, it was obtained an equation for σ*(ω), depending on both energy distribution and the distribution function of the energy barriers. Finally, it is proposed a Gaussian distribution of energy barriers for hopping carriers that was successfully applied to experimental data from different types of electronic polymers, ionic composites and semiconductor ceramics.
