RESUMO
The General Theory of Health´s law brings the organization of the brazilian law system to protect the right to health. In the fist part, the Theory explains how the brazilian law system recognizes health as a social right, specially after the 1988 Constitution. The second part of the Theory explains the sources of health´s law in Brazil, as well as its principles and institutions. This part puts a spot light in the way that brazilian Constitution organizes the public health system (Sistema Único de Saúde) to protect individual and publica health in Brazil.
