RESUMO
Around 15O years ago the duodenogastric reflux was discovered. In that time, BOLDYREFF believed this reflux could be benefic once it neutralized the excessive gastric acidity, and would avoid the peptic ulcer.Therefore, some authors have since that time believed in the deleterious action of such reflux. In the first 5O years of this century several experimental studies have proved the noxious action of the alkaline reflux to the stomach.
