Formação de administradores com competências empreendedoras : um estudo multi-casos em instituições de ensino superior no oeste do Paraná

RESUMO

The problem that central to this research deals with the technical-theoretical compatibility of the Pedagogical Projects of the Business Management undergraduate courses whose aim is to form professionals with entrepreneurial abilities. The general objective is to characterize and to analyze the technical-theoretical compatibility of the Business Management course projects of three institutions of the western Paraná vis-à-vis the formation of entrepreneurs. The methodology of this research is characterized as a qualitative approach, described as descriptive, in the case study format, carried out in three venues selected in western Paraná: a private university, a public one and a private college, all of which are determined to form a professional with entrepreneurial abilities in the Business Management undergraduate course. In the process to collect data, documents, interviews and non-participative observation were used. The main document considered was the Pedagogical Project of the institutions. The interviews were carried out with the course coordinators and 2005 seniors. The data analysis was qualitative and research work was developed in the manner of case study. One of the several conclusions we could come to was that the institutions studied do not present a technical theoretical compatibility of their projects vis-à-vis the formation of entrepreneurs. They do not have the specific subjects on such topic in their curricular structure, the methodologies are not suitable for this formation, and the Experimental Companies present little activity. The main cause of the problem is in the unsatisfactory design of the Pedagogical Project, which must serve as an instrument for decision taking in the courses, and in the fact that it is not followed at all.
