First record of Euchirograpsus americanus A. Milne-Edwards, 1880 (Crustacea: Decapoda: Plagusiidae) from northeastern Brazil

RESUMO

Abstract The crab Euchirograpsus americanus A. Milne-Edwards, 1880 (Plagusiidae) has so far only been recorded in Brazil in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Here we report its first occurrence from northeastern Brazil, from the Potiguar Basin in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
