RESUMO

This subject aim to study the process of alienation and its overcoming, as well as, its understanding and its limits for Ludwig Feuebach from the general view of his thought. First of all, the author of fundamental thought will be investigated, especially his conception of human essence and interaction. However, will be verified that human essence does not exist without the material basis, origin of its form. Finally, we will give evidence that the human essence form of reason, feeling and purpose end up being abstracted an empowered by the strength of abstraction, ending in the religion, that for its side has the true essence, the anthropological essence and an untrue essence, the alienation. Nevertheless, the alienation does not represent a religion singularity, but it is also found in the Hegel idealism. The overcoming of alienation to become fundamental for the man, because it does not consist only of a harmless illusion but of something harmful, that acts over the humanity killing its sense of true and virtue. In spite of the limits of alienation concept in Feuerbach, a radical humanism exists in his thought that is proper to be distinguished
