Fatores de risco de acidentes de trabalho na indÃstria da construÃÃo civil : anÃlise na fase de estruturas

RESUMO

This study presents the results of a survey carried out in 43 (forty three) sites of vertical building, still in a structural stage is, in Recife Metropolitan Region. The study aimed to propose a protocol to evaluate and control the risk of work accidents. Use of this protocol comprising tools â evaluation of workersâ individual aspects and evaluation of accident risks â is aimed at ensur workersâ physical and mental integrity, cost reduction, image of the company and life quality improvement. The first tool was used in those sites where a systematic observation about accident risks was on course, for this it was used as elemental theorist the Work Safety and Medicine Legislation. The second toll was used as basis for intervienring 82 (eighty two) workers including bricklayesrs, carpenters and blacksmiths. Proposed by this research, the use of these toolls provides a better understanding civil construction workers profiles. Such knowledge enables investment directly in programs and systems in ergonomics and work safety areas, promoting workersâ life condition improvement, which leads to a decrease of existing risk conditions in their work environment
