RESUMO

Strategies and actions in connection with the Human Resource department at FURB were analyzed, particularly those pertaining to the endo-enterprising efforts made in order to optimize the institutions performance. Therefore, the following specif ic targets have been proposed: (1) Analyze the set of strategies created by FURB in the last 10 years as a result of policies for its faculty motivation and valorization; (2) Analyze, for the same time period, all endo-enterprising indicators from the entire entity as a result of all FURBs faculty performance; (3) Verify, for the same period, the entitys growth curve represented by the following requirements: number of courses, number of beginners/year; number of graduators/year; facilities enlargement; the entitys operating expansion; number of evasions/year to other entities; number of drop-outs/year (See chart in the Theoretical fundamentation); (4) Exhibit in comparative terms, the analyzed time period and its corresponding variables (the use of strategies and additional benefits and their impact with regards to the performance and expansion level) in order to detect interferences that might lead to a conclusive exhibition being strictly focused on the entity being analyzed; (5) Find out if FURB uses a master plan (as a result of its personnel policy), which could give guidelines about the entitys endo-enterprising directions/actions, and which could be used in other SEIs; (6) Based on the data obtained from the above target, proceed with a categorized identification (Growing class ification by importance level) of all conditioning factors (limiting) that could eventually put obstacles to the university endo-enterprising process, which becomes clear with the education. The work has been organized in five chapters, beginning with the subjects argumentation and demonstration of the research problem, issues and related objectives, followed by the theoretical fundamentation wherein the main concepts, management principles and Human Resource strategies are presented. The research method is featured as qualitative-explorativedescriptive, which data is obtained upon the application of a questionnaire on the samples taken from FURBs faculty personnel as well as by means of documental analysis of the entity being researched. The conclusions indicate that the entity is currently in disagreement with its mission and sounds out of tune from the principles governing educational organizations in such a globalization time as now, and therefore, puts its life lasting in serious risk facts verified by means of the indicators demonstrated on the related graphs. As a recommendation, a few relevant items are proposed, based on the need for a structuration of a strategic plan or program of motivation and valorization of its human resources
