RESUMO

The electrospinning process is known to be an efficient technique for the fabrication of polymer nanofibers. The nanofibers have great potential for application in various areas of technology such as sensors, catalysis, filtration systems and especially in the medical field in tissue engineering, controlled release of drugs, poultices for burns and other applications. However, only in recent years the process of electrospinning has been much discussed in academic seen by the growing number of published articles. In this work we produced nanofibers of polymer blends of biopolymers (PLA) with conducting polymer poly(ortho-methoxyaniline), (POMA) and poly(ortho-ethoxyaniline), (POEA), and studied the influences of processing parameters such as working distance and varying the blend composition. Through the micrographs of nanofibers realizes there is an optimum viscosity at which the polymer electrospun presents good mechanical characteristics and minimum of these globular structures. Best results for the blends of POMA and the PLA was to composition (50/50) and 15 cm working distance for POEA and the blends of PLA was the best composition (50/50) and working distance of 10 cm. Note that there is electrospun polymers can POMA and POEA alone as the low molecular weight of these polymers prevent there when electrospun fiber formation due to This is why it is stressed the importance of the blend. The characterization of the polymers were carried out by using absorption spectroscopy tecnique in the regions of ultraviolet and visible (UV-Vis) and vibrational spectroscopy of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), the nanofibers were characterized by the technique if scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
