RESUMO

In this work, modified molybdenum analysis methods were studied with the purpose of improving the reproductiveness of the method using tiocyanate. It was found that the use of tin chloride and hydroxilamine as reductors improve reproductiveness, the same impronement being achieved with a mixture of amylic alcohol-benzene extraction solvents. The separation of the complexes Mo-(SCN) in single phase with water-ethanol-amylic alcohol was also studied, presenting eficiencies from 70% to 90%. The spectroscopic studies (320-500nm) of Mo-(SCN) in single phase, indicated the formation of Mo(V) and Mo(VI) complexes.
