RESUMO
In microdilution antimicrobial susceptibility tests in our laboratory, only two concentrations of each antimicrobial agent are used. Plate reading with the Dynatech MR 580 Microplate Reader was compared with visual inspection. An Apple II computer printed results as S, I, or R. Reproducibility between visual and MR 580 readings was 99.4%.
