RESUMO

The pharmaceutical industry has a very important role on the research and the development of the efficient medical drugs which must be able to support the public programs on health and to help the professionals to take care of the individuals. The medicine manufacturing is made by a complex set of processes submitted to severe regulation and laws to guarantee the right quality for each specific application. The control on these processes, besides to introduce high production costs, it is not sufficient to guarantee always the conformities on the medicines. As per the procedures, the non conformity must be submitted to a detailed investigation to find the cause and the product should be reworked or scrapped; both decisions increase the production costs. As the raw materials, the labor and the processes are very well controlled, the machine emerges as the best opportunity to reduce the non conformities and its costs. This study has developed one model, the DRM Desdobramento do Recurso Máquina (MRD Machine Resource Deployment), to identify the machine component which origins the non conformity on the medicine produced. This model should be present on all the transactions regarding the medicine production equipment, since its acquisition until the end of its productive life, as the alignment reference for these transactions and then to reduce the non conformities and its costs. The research was made on six relevant local companies and was able to confirm the viability of the proposed model and its use as the alignment element for the transactions regarding the equipments checked. It was also verified, the real contribution of this model for the systematic investigation of the non conformity origin and the efficiency on the preventive and the corrective intervention on the medicine production equipments.
