Estudo dos processos de resolução de problema mediante a construção de jogos computacionais de matematica no ensino fundamental

RESUMO

This research analyzes the 6th grade students’ problem resolution situations (11-12 years old), with the purpose of investigating how the movements of mathematical thought of problem resolution are processed when “ensino fundamental” students play and create computational games. The developed activities were teaching and research activities, aiming at the student’s learning and the quality of informing their procedures and elaboration in the resolution of the problems which were created by them. The built information was organized in episodes and dialogues, having two categories as analysis reference: dilematic situation more analysis and synthesis, based in Caraça (2000), Moisés (1999) and Kalmykova (1977). It is an intervention research with interpretative analysis of the students’ manifestations during the process of playing and creating a computational game. The accomplished analyses show that, when we propose situations in which they have to create games and also in which they feel the necessity to solve them, those students show moments of hesitation and doubts that we characterize as dilemmatic situation, keeping in this situation or overcoming it when developing synthesis and analysis procedures of the variables of the problems appeared by the act of creating the game. It was possible to get elements for discussions about the interaction process between class room and Technology and for rethinking abo ut the conception of problem resolution in the educational context, from the processed analysis.
