RESUMO

The goal of this work is to describe a method to solve stability problems of mid and long terms using Nodal Power Mismatch (NPM) concept. The basis of the new method is its formulation as a power flow problem and the use of the well known power flow algorithms for the solution, using a decoupled modelling. The need of an infinitebus representation is avoided by the use of the power mismatch approach. The performance of this method is first discussed for a singlegenerator connected to an infinitebus and then extended for a multinodal network
