Estudo da natureza de coordenação por analise vibracional de complexos de SbC15 e ligantes O-EN-doadores

RESUMO

This work describes the synthesis of the SbCl5 complexes with Oxo- and N- donors of general formula SBCl5.L where L= OP(N(CH3)2)3, OP(N(CH3)2)2Cl, OP(N(CH3)2Cl2, OPCl3, OP(CH3)3, OP(C6H5)3, OCN(CH3)2H, OCN(CH3)2CH3, OC(N(CH3)2)2, OS(CH3)2, O2S(CH3)2, OseCl2, NCCH3, NC(C6H5) e NOCHCH2. The vibrational spectra Raman and infrared of these complexes were measured, respectively, in the frequency region from 4000-50 cm and from 4000-160 cm. The tentative assignments were made considering C4v symmetry to the SbCl5O and SbCl5N, and comparing the ligand frequencies before and after the complexation. A normal coordinate analysis was carried out for the skeleton SbCl5L (L= O e N) assuming an approximate model (C4v). The force constants were adjusted by the least square method to reproduce the observed frequencies. The influence of donor strength of the ligants was discussed in terms of ligand and skeleton frequency shifts. The calculated force constants K(ML), K(MX)ax, K(MX)eq and I(MX,ML), were correlated with Gutmann´s donor number; the differences between the systems CN Sb and X-O Sb (X= P, C, S e Se) were also discussed.
