RESUMO
The specie Moringa oleifera stands out as one of the most promising sources of natural coagulants and it is an alternative coagulant to use instead of aluminum salts and iron salts objectivizing to eliminate particles in suspension on water. The present project set out to comparative study of the fast mixture conditions and flocculation conditions (mean average speed gradient and agitation time), concerning color removal and turbidity removal by direct filtration nd sedimentation after 15, 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. The sampling waters were collected in the summer months and they presented low turbidity and moderate color. static reactors of 2 liters capacity were used in essays that analyzed these following parameters: pH, electric condutivity, aparent color and remaining turbity. Basing on results of experimental work made, it s proposed o use the M. oleifera seeds powder extracted coagulant to promote water clarification by filtration
