RESUMO

The main purpose of this s wore was the study of adherence between nickel-chromic um alloys and parcel al n for use in dental restorations. A detailed bibliographic revision was performed and two commercial nickel-chromium alloys was selected. one of them with low concentration of beryllium. Hardness test microstructural analysis of the all oys analysis of the ceramic-alloys interface by optical and electronic microscopy. four-point?s bending in the metal-ceramic systems and analysis of the affinity alloy-ceramic was carried out. Special apparatus were designed allowing to. evaluate the metal-ceramic bond strength. and ceramic wet ability. The niclcel-chromium-berilium alloy showed better fit. than the nickel-chromium alloy. The banding test. was repeatable and wetting test. was appropriate to determine the affinity between both materials
