RESUMO
Considering the perspective of the Creative Economy and based entrepreneur of humor, this paper seeks to examine the humorous activity and its contribution to local development in the city of Fortaleza. More specifically had as basis the question: how the humorous activity and its entrepreneurs contribute to local development in the city of Fortaleza? In this context, attempt to identify and characterize the areas of production, products and entrepreneurship activity related humor, reflecting on the implications for local development. In terms of methodology was chosen for the achievement of the objectives, conduct of an exploratorydescriptive study, qualitative in nature, developed in two stages: 1) compilation of documents, observation and discussion of the theoretical framework around the optics of Economics and Creative Industry and related sub-themes, among them: entrepreneurship and local development, 2) exploratory foray into the empirical field, aiming to outline the current state of activity in the humorous context under study, identifying the sites that promote the humorous events, characterized by means of Direct and indirect observation and semistructured interviews with roadmaps, developers of mood, their areas of production, products and implications for the development site. It was found that humor, while entrepreneurial activity involving its tourism potential is still able to generate wealth for the development site for all those involved directly and indirectly with this activity. It is concluded that humor should be thought, the private sector and public policies in relation to the problems presented and the difficulties to be overcome.
