RESUMO

The work in question seeks to investigate clues about the reading experience lived by children of the Fundamental Teaching I - fourth grade, taking as research source the report of their memories. These had as "support" individual boxes where each child put objetcts, toys, clothes, texts and books what revealed their histories and what wore explicit in presentations in the schoolar environment. The research focus moves to moments in these reports (registered in video) in which the books and the comments show up, such as the mention to others subjects that took part in these reading children courses. To the analysis exercise of theses sources is taken as theoretical reference the historical and cultural perspective, pointing out the following authors: Chartier, Vygotisky, George Duby, Michel de Certeau
