RESUMO
This thesis presents a study of the feasibility of industrial production of an electromagnetic sensor for the measurement of fluid flow, using national available technology. The project of a prototype is developed for the special case of marine currents. The problems concerning the project and its implementation, as well as the measurements obtained from the prototype, are presented and discussed. The sensor signals processing is also examined in its general aspects.
