Efeitos da solicitação de relatos sobre resolução de problema no desempenho de escolher: uma replicação a Simonassi, Tourinho e Silva (2001)

RESUMO

The present study was accomplished based on the work of Simonassi, Tourinho and Silva with the objectives to verify: a) the effectiveness of experimental contingencies programmed to public cover responses. b) the relation between description of self behaviour and experimental contingencies in a problem resolution situation so that it becomes available in a response solution. 50 people participated in this study and were distributed into five groups, each one with 10 members, according to the 5 experimental conditions composed by 40 attempts of arbitrary matching of the comparision of the figures with model figures. Among groups the difference was due to the moment that information answers was solicitated from participants above if they known to resolve the exercise and right away the descriptives answers about how they did to resolve it. After each attempt, the participants from one group were requested to emmite infommation ar,~swers and to write ("GR todas"). The participants of other groups were required to emmite these categories answers after tenth (GR 10), twentieth (GR 20),-thirtieth (GR 30), fortieth (GR 40) attempt, respectively. In the results obtained were possible to observe that, when was given to the participants the opportunity to emmite answers in all attempts to resolve the exercise, the key answer happened in high frequency. For the groups whose report wasn t required frequently it was possible note that the reinforcement contingencies employed in this study, was less efficable to achieve the response solution. Also it wasn t possible to deduce safely by way of participants perfommances to turn the covered behaviour public by way of verbal contingencies programmed in this exercise because it wasn t possible to verify relations of correspondence among the verbal answers (the information and of writing) emmited and the key answers available when associated to the opportunities to report in a considerable quantities
