RESUMO

The purpose of this work was to verify the effects of sialotoxina I (a substance purified from submandibular gland extract of male mice) on the number of circulating erythrocytes and leukocytes and on the liver ans spleen histology of female mice. Thirty animals divided into three distint groups were used for this evaluation. Female mice were 1 p. injected during 10 consecutive days with NaCl 0,9% (Group I).
