Efeito da hidratação hidrofobica e da interação hidrofobica sobre o volume molar em excesso de soluções liquidas binarias de agua-alcool a diferentes temperaturas a pressão atmosferica : estudo experimental e modelagem

RESUMO

Densities of binary liquid mixtures of water + methanol, or + ethanol, or + 1-propanol, or + 2-propanol, or + t-butanol have been determined as a function of composition in the range 288.15 - 318.15 K at atmospheric pressure using a vibrating-tube densimeter. Excess molar volumes (Vm) were calculated. TheVm values were described through a Redlich-Kister type equation. The partial molar volumes, apparent molar volumes and excess partial molar volumes of each component at infinite dilution were determined by using three different methods. The Vm were used to test the applicability of the ERAS Model. A new model was proposed which combines the ERAS ModeI with a term of the hydrophobic effects. The agreement between experimental data and the values calculated using the ERAS Hydrophobic is very good for alI concentration ranges and temperatures.
