Educação sexual e formação docente: um estudo a partir de concepções discentes

RESUMO

The sexual education is an integrating part of the global education of an individual. It begins in his birth and follows him during his entire existence. It is a process in permanent construction that daily and informally happens. But it can happen in educational institutions by specific projects as well. The process of sexual education in its development, as in its results, goes beyond the limits of an individual, because it involves the individual with the collective. In Brazil, since 1980, the interest and the movement of professionals in various areas of knowledge on sexual education increase gradually. With the definition of National Curricular Parameters by the Ministry for Education in 1997, the contents on sex, body, sexuality, gender relations and prevention of sexual infectious deceases were liberated to be taught in school. Thus, this dissertation researched how the sexual education is treated in the formation of students in the Pedagogy Course of the Regional University of Blumenau SC. It deals of a case research, oriented by a bibliographical survey and the application of a questionnaire to a class of the seventh semester of the course in 2005. The group appoints, based in the experience of each one as student and teacher, that the sexual education in the school goes trough the contents of several disciplines and random talks in the classroom. The analysis here developed appoints to a treatment in which the process of sexual education took place in a non systematical way, on costs of its formalization
