RESUMO

The abusive use of psychoactive substances in contemporary society has been the subject of great discussion and concerns on the part of society, mainly because it is routinely tied to violence and crime. Currently, one of the services most sought after for treatment to the Drug-dependent person are the hospitalization in Therapeutic Communities (TCs). We set out to investigate and best known modes of operation and better understand the modes of operation and production practices of subjectivity that fall under proposals via hospitalization in TCs. We find in the mechanisms biopoliticos, of control of life, some paths that lead us to understand the sources that foster the emergence of TCs. We have identified as the capitalist strategies, with its mechanisms and technologies, could cause a significant change in the way of life of western populations, forming populations of consumers eager to support this new world order. In fact, it has been required and permitted an increase in interventions of appliances biopoliticos in camps legal, medical and religious enrolled in public policies. The TCs emerge as alternatives to biomedical practices and prisons, however suffer significant transformation during the development of its work. In our research we used the cartography as a resource that contributes to the construction of a path of analysis to go, we take part of the movements of some TCs and we can realize that the norms have become increasingly present in their practices of attention, for shares of mechanisms religious, transcendent and disciplinary, directly intervened in the processes of producing subjectivity and construction of life. We believe that the knowledge about the multicausality and singling out present in agency set of drug addiction is fundamental to any proposed collective policies of attention for drug users
