RESUMO

The main purpose of this research is to comprehend how the subjectivity of teenagers is developed in situations such as being geographically away from their parents. Categories such as family, childhood and adolescence are taken as historically formed realities and are essential to comprehend the subjectivity of the teenagers that have been studied. Psychoanalysis is taken as a supportive theory necessary to access the subjectivity of the teenagers apart from their parents. In this case, we can understand that the relationship between parents and children is the main point for the development of the subjectivity from the children in general and that the particularity of their teenagers in situations of being away is expressive concerning this reality. After performing interviews and questionnaires we came up with some data about medium class teenagers, well as their families, which move from the countryside of Goiás state and other states to Goiânia, with the purpose of studying. At first we can discuss the transformations that occur in the families with the changing from medium age to modernity and the families of those teenagers that have been interviewed are characterized. After that a speech about their childhood and the relationships with their parents is presented. Then the adolescence is treated as a moment of moving from childhood to the adult life and as an intensive impulsive time. Finally the situation lived by the apart teenagers is discussed and we try to learn how they organize themselves subjectively away from their parents and experiencing the intensification of their reactions. As conclusion we found out that the teenagers in situations of being apart experience, in a particular and unconscious way, high moral strictness and an increasing of their demands about themselves.
