RESUMO

This is a study on the interaction between bodies and their ways of dressing: it focus on the Fashion as a machine playing a social, esthetic, and marketing role: this study also shows the relationship of Fashion with subjectivity, as in the Gilles Deleuze s and Felix Guattari s theory. This research compiles different streams of fashion, concentrating in the 1990s. It looks at circumscribing two policies which incorporates fashion in the same ground to built up the contemporary subjectivity: fashion as a "proteases of one s identity" and as "the territory of one s existence".
