RESUMO

This study has as proposal specific to establish some connections with the field of the social thought and the academic production on racial relations in Brazil.The conceptual search on the basis of the reading of some related aspects, that had demarcated the formatting of sociological paradigms on the subject, was what in it brought them to this type of study. Especially, we approach in tbis work the relation enters the thought of Florestan Femandes and its respective sociological contribution directed toward the universe of the racial relations in Brazil. Although let us not present something unknown in the field them academic studies on the subject, we fix some balances that if want of interest for the area of the social thought. A weighed reflection on the frequency of Fernandes in the racial studies in the Brazilian sociological fíeld. Still more, the conceptual land mark formatied by the author, inside of one arrives in port theoretician-methodology who fínished for characterizing alterations in the routes of the established sociological analysis until then on the racial subject. We eut our studies searching the accomplishment of an academic work of in such a way how much critical matrix one, bringing up to date in the measure of possible the referring aspects to the conceptual parameters of the sociological agreement on racial relations. Inside of the picture of pertaining intellectuals to Social Sciences in Brazil, Fernandes to its time fílled the pages of the social knowledge, leaving us considerable contributions, that if they express in the present time, inside of the proper dynamics of its followers more right-handers, as wel1as in the sphere of a critical thought its workmanship
