RESUMO

In the market each more competitive and of fast change, the companies are being forced to adapt with more agility. The Information Technology (IT) becames a strategical area for the survival of the organizations. One of the strategies and form of rendering IT services is to conduct projects. Many companies are using best pratices of project management, however the surveyed result has not been of the best ones. The proposal of this reasearch is to define direction that can improve the accompaniment of software development projects. A study case was carried through a specific company, wich is specialized in software development projects. This study considered the strategical objectives of the unit in study and the main problems identified in the project management. The application of the Balanced Scorecard methodology allowed the definition of indicators, goals and action for each one of the strategical objectives. The junction of the strategical objectives,indicators, goals, actions and the Measurements Plan give origin to the direction to improve the accompaniment of software development projects.
