RESUMO

This work aims at pointing aspects of constitution of brazilian territorial identities that integrate the brazilian migration all over the world, through the analysis of their expressions demonstrated by internet blogs; trying to articulate each identity with its representation on a cultural field, more specifically about territoriality. In the first chapter, it is presented a reflection about the evolution of geographic thinking. The geographic space is retaken and this could articulate the importance of the technique and its spacer potential; as well justify an option for the cyberspace analysis in a cultural geographic point of view. In the second chapter, the discussion was centralized on the conception of cultural identity and the approach emphasized was to orientate theoretically and methodologically the investigation in loco, that is, it established its elements and its articulation, object of this search. The concept of territory and its variations were studied on the third chapter. The definition of notion of territory introduces this chapter in order to open discussions regarding territoriality and desterritorialization. These concepts brought an improvement to the discussion because they could provoke, by the geographers, many conceptions and, consequentially, more questions about cyberspace. The focus, here, was to investigate the territoriality of cyberspace, in order to add more information, to understand its main characteristic and its role as a catalyst of time and space compression or if it is the space that creates news territories identities. The discussion about the concept of cyberspace and its characteristics was presented in the fourth chapter, retaking the computers history and the context they are in, how the internet starts and how it was introduced in Brazil. Some demonstrations of cyberspace in a daily life were illustrated through the recent works, in many areas of knowledge and, mainly, in the field of Geography. It was discussed the use of modern space conceptions as blogsphere and it was searched for a definition of blog as a digital locale, that is, as an elementary unity of the social relationship in cyberspace. In the fifth chapter, it was used some expressions of the blogs users who live abroad in order to identify the process of constitution of their territorial identities. In order to keep coherence and theoretical perspective it was necessary to verify if the territorial identities are reaffirmed or territorialized, fragmented or desterritorialized, hybrid or multiterritorial. The constitution of territorial was analyzed as a process, so the identification are flexible and dont stop in a fixed taxonomy, although it was noticed demonstrations over three senses
