RESUMO
From an analysis of the transformation of sciences, literature and arts, it is possible to proceed towards the understanding of both contemporary man and culture. It is intended to concentrate a substantial part of the discussion on new times and new spaces, characterizing what it has been called, by the authors approached herein, Post-Modern Condition, Post-Modernity, Late Capitalism, Post-Industrial Society, High, Radical or Late Modernity. These concepts are defined not only due to the transformation in different ways of artistic expression and/or the social institutions, but mainly in field of feelings the daily sensibilities. Therefore, the basic purpose of this paper is, above all, to indicate the convergences between the analyses presented by Fredric Jameson, Jean François Lyotard and Anthony Giddens. The approach requires a brief discussion of chosen conceptions, following an arrangement or sequence of the main points of each theory that, by the authors point of view, converge, depending on the perspective chosen, or flow in different directions. In face of the incapacity of exploring the immensity of the theoretical developments glimpsed, it is intended to be focused on the creation of a narrative environment, intentionally biased towards prose with a propaedeutical emphasis, taking into consideration an academic specialization in professorship.
