RESUMO

This work describes the synthesis of carbon materials by the liquid phase electrodeposition technique performed at room temperature. During the process of deposition, was used an electrolytic cell with potential diference between the electrodes not exceeding 300V. The solution used was pure ethanol well as deionized water mixed with ethanol. The samples were characterized by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Among the set of samples produced, there were those that presented structures of Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) and diamond. The interest in the liquid phase electrodeposition technique is justified by the possibility of synthesizing carbon materials at low temperatures
