RESUMO

Introduction: This thesis starts frem the idea that delusion in its pure meaning, according to JASPERS (1955), is a disturbance which precedes the judgements formation. The intuition is what precedes the ability to judge. It is therefore the intuition, shaped by the affectivity that represents the main disturbance which establishes the delusion. The term intuition is used here to describe a type of primitive knowledge which is not linked to sensorial perception. 1t is a non experience based conviction. Material: We suggest that main pathological factor in delusional patients is purely the alteration of the intuition, regardless of the environrnental, cultural or social factors. It should be shown by the author s observations carried on psychopathological and quantitative analisys of 146 delusional and non-delusional patients through Arv.IDP and 20 other delirant patients (5 frem Portugal and 15 frem Brazil) for prefound and qualitative analisys to a transcultural approach. esults and conclusions: Primitive delusion can be the intuition in its pure state. The structural connection between delusion, humor and delusion intuition can no longer. be obscured and we can see that a possible genesis connection exists between delusion humor and delusion intuition. 1t is possible that delusive humor always precedes and generates delusion. IThe delusion which arises frem false intuitions is the only one which is a natural consequence of unknown disturbances of the intuitive capacities. We accept, in a conclusive way, that the delusional main pathological factor is the alteration of one intuitive ability. This is confirmed by the author s observations and don t presents significant variations in a transcultural study
