RESUMO

The objective of this study was to investigate how professionals and users who act in CAPSad (Centers for Psychosocial Care dedicated to the treatment of people with problems arising from the use of alcohol and other drugs) produce meanings about gender violence, whereas this is where services are often sent men perpetrators of violence, although these centers not formally part of the Network facing violence against women. As theoretical support, based on the performativity of language, ie that it has the ability to lead and create realities and the study of discursive practices as a tool for analysis of the production of meaning in daily life. The design of the research, qualitative in nature, involved interviews with five professional and five users, located in two CAPSad based in the Metropolitan Region of Recife. Selected users were men who carried any report of violence against women associated with the demand for chemical dependency. The analysis produced was organized into three areas: 1) explanation of why it beat in women, 2) definition of gender violence and 3) parties. In general, the analysis showed that the practice of violent acts by these men is related to cultural issues (male socialization model), the attempt of these men to defend themselves from physical attacks aimed against them by their companions, for internal disorders the user s mental and it would certainly uncontrolled by drug dependence, as this act of violence and enhanced. The analysis of games of placements indicated that the men to be read strictly from the medico-matrix psychiatrizing are allocated as "the patient, the drink." Thus, they, especially those referred by the Justice for aggression and its companion called aggressors, in a non-such, are perpetuated in the condition of "victims" because dis responsiblied, before their addiction. Since the meanings produced on the violence of gender in these areas are around the axis-dependent âvictimaryâ, perpetuate are the categories of thought opposites and institutional practices that support the daily maintenance of the order of sexist gender. Thus, these men enter the circuit, Justice-Health as "aggressors" and end up quickly being incorporated as "dependent." Itâs need a critical reading of the demands that are generated by attack on women or other forms of aggression related to ways of being legitimized in gender relations in order to map the network with services dedicated to the public that we cause any deformation in initial demand and may generate distortions
