RESUMO

Womens experience has been considered as the starting point of Feminist Liberation Theologies. In Latin America sexism, feminization of poverty, violence against women have been inspiring the feminist movement to make an articulation with the popular movements of women to conquer full womens rights. The Liberation Theologies were not capable to analyse womens oppression nor support their struggle, for they have understood this oppression as an unfolding of the economic exploration of the poor countries by the rich countries. We want to demonstrate that the Feminist Liberation Theology on the contrary, using a feminist method of analysis, is able to offer a theological support for the Latin American womens demands for rights. This research will theologically analyse an experience of popular movements women and explore two priority categories of this experience: body and daily life. In so doing, we intend to demonstrate that body and daily life are important categories for the Feminist Liberation Theology in Latin America, through which it will be able to contribute to support womens search for autonomy and empowerment, specially in what refers to poor women.(AU)
