Convento dos Oratorianos de SÃo Filipe NÃri: leituras arqueolÃgicas de um convento que virou shopping, em Recife-PE

RESUMO

This research deals of a study about the significate constructive fases of the building that was the shelter of the Oratorian Priest Convent of the origen since the primordial implantation, until it configurates the Building of PaÃo Alfandega and the history of this Convent in the City of Recife, in Pernambuco State. For the accomplishment of this research, an investigation was done and a historical panorama was sketched about the constructive of the edification of the building. Archeological data found at the escavation done were analyzed since the comprehension of the architectonic elements, where were identified traces of correlations with indication of historical elements studied. As a conclusion of this study, the author shows a refletion about the theoric and methodology aspects of its own historical archeology relating them to the history, anthropology, cultural and architectural patrimony, and the arguments of its limits and validity to other studies that could eventually de realized in a interdisciplinary perspective.
