RESUMO

This work adresses the state feedback control design for linear continuous time systems with regional pole constraints. The subregions of the complex plane considered are: vertical strip, circle and parabolic region. Uncertain systems in convex bounded domains can also be handled. The performace cri teria used are: H IND. 2? norm, H IND. INFINITO? norm and mixed H IND. 2?/?H IND. INFINITO? index. An algorithm to solve the robust control problems with regional pole constraints is presented, as well as numerical illustrative examples
